Scout® Pro Max tests and troubleshoots RJ11, RJ12, RJ45, and F-connector terminated cables and provides analog and digital tone generation for cable tracing. It measures cable lengths (via TDR) and detects distance to faults. Generate reports to show custom test history. Tests shielded and unshielded cables. Trace up to 20 locations at a time with included remotes. Perform hub blink testing, measure active and passive Power over Ethernet (PoE). Test POTS, and detect active network capabilities.

• Full color back-lit screen and internal memory to store, download, and output test results for easy report management
• Measure cable length up to 2000 feet (610 m) and distance to fault with TDR
• Digital / Analog tone generation to easily probe cables (requires Cat. No. VDV500-223, sold separately)
• Locate and identify up to 20 locations with ID remotes for greater cable management and organization
• Detect network capabilities and connection speeds up to 10G bps
• Initiate hub blink to easily identify and locate cables on device and POTS testing
